A Fun Long Weekend

Overall, it was a pretty uneventful week. Aaron gets better at walking every day, and he's now really good at standing up without a piece of furniture to hold onto. He's also getting his 1-year molars, and there were a few days where he seemed really uncomfortable. Fortunately, with a little pain medicine (and not a lot of sleep), we survived.

Mudgie continues to do really well with his big boy underpants. He did have 1 accident this week, though. He didn't nap much at daycare this week, so he fell asleep in the car on the way home, and then he was a beast when he woke up. There was 1 night when he had a massive crying fit when Dave woke him up, and as Dave was holding him, trying to calm him down, he peed on Dave. Apparently, Dave said, "Mudgie, are you peeing on me?" And Mudgie cried, "I'm sorry, Daddy." So Dave said, "Well stop!" I nearly peed myself when Dave told me that story!

We also had a lot of fun this weekend. On Friday, the boys and I went to Drumlin Farm with K-K and the other daycare kids (Talia, Christina, and Mia). It was great to see the boys with their friends, and amazing to watch Karen in action. Grammy and Grampy Weatherwax came over on Saturday and gave Dave and me a much needed date night, and on Monday we went peach and apple picking with Talia and her parents. It was a lot of fun for everyone, and the perfect end to a long weekend.
