So much snow!

As anyone who lives in New England already knows, we've had a ridiculous amount of snow this winter. It seems like every week we get at least a foot of new snow. We are at the point that there is no where to put it all. And that's how we ended up with the snow slide in our backyard. There is a giant chute that goes off the deck and into the back yard. It's a lot of fun. This weekend everyone went down it, including Mudgie...by himself! When we can convince him to go outside and play, he always has a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it usually takes a lot of convincing.

Aaron has been eating like a champ this week! He eats brown rice cereal at daycare, and then some fruit or vegetable at home at dinner time. He's had sweet potato and pear, and really liked them both. We also had peas for the first time today, and I can say he definitely did not like those! The faces he made while eating them were priceless, and I'm hoping that if I keep feeding them to him (just a spoonful here and there) he'll grow to like them.

Aaron still isn't sleeping through the night (ok...he's not even close), but he is starting to spend more time in his own bed. Once he falls asleep in the evenings (around 8pm), I am usually able to put him in his crib for at least an hour. It's not a lot of time, but at least it allows me to do things like fold laundry, eat dinner, or write a blog! He usually ends up in bed with me between 10 and 11, but this is a push in the right direction.
